This whole home renovation was as transformative as it gets! The vision started when we decided to remove the interior staircase into an addition that would act as a mudroom and split entryway. Removing the stairs allowed us to open up the small kitchen and create a large open floor plan with exceptional flow, perfect for hosting family and friends. The mudroom features heated tile floor and beautiful walnut stairs with white risers. The unfinished basement was converted into a functional living space with a second family room, a workout room, a new bathroom, a laundry area, three closets, and an additional bedroom. Upstairs we completely changed the layout. 4 closets were removed to create a large pantry and a walk-in closet for the master bedroom. Walls were removed to accommodate a significantly larger kitchen with an island, a coffee bar, and much more functional storage and countertop space. New white cabinets and subway tile backsplash are complimented by the Absolute Black granite countertop. The farmhouse sink and new appliances fit the space well. Features that push this remodel over the top include under cabinet lighting, herringbone tile floors in the kitchen, and a large deep window sill above the sink in the kitchen that matches the countertop. In addition to the eye-catching improvements, the house got new siding, mostly all new windows, new doors, new paint, a deck, and more!
